TAG Heuer Men's 2000 Aquaracer Quartz Watch #WAB1110.BA0800

Manufacturer: Tag Heuer
The ultimate dive watch, TAG Heuer's Aqua Racer provides the high-performance features you need with rugged handsome styling. It features a flat black dial with three-hand function, a date window at 3 o'clock, and luminescent markers on the hands, indexes and bezel scale. Special luminescent material has been added to the tip of the bright yellow second hand for added visibility. The dial is set in a brushed steel case and framed by a unidirectional rotating bezel with an aluminum ring for timing dives and other limited events. Large-sized Arabic numerals on the ring make the dive scale easy to read. The screw-in case back is engraved with an image of a diver's helmet, and the screw-in crown is fitted with a double seal. Water resistant to 300 meters, this watch is perfect for diving. Other notable features include precise Swiss quartz movement and a highly scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The watch presents on a triple-link bracelet of brushed steel that fastens with a fold-over-clasp-with-safety. A diving extension system allows the bracelet to adjust in length so that it fits over a diving suit.
About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few. Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.

Everything u need to know about this watch
I didn't buy this watch from amazon.com I bought it from an authorized dealer. Here's a tip, amazon is NOT an authorized dealer for selling TAG HEUER products, nor any other watch such as Rolex, Omega, Breitling, etc. Any high end watch is only sold at authorized retailers, thus in a store, will display signs for its authorization to sell these high end watches.
Now to the Aquaracer. I bought this watch after working on Wall street from Kenjo. I went there after scoping out a couple of watches and finally told the guy that 1400 retail was too much. He gave me a bargain deal and took about 400 off the ticket price.
The watch itself is an amazing piece. I'm only 21 and have received numerous compliments about the watch, more than my friend who has a Rolex (Which in my opinion are kinda over displayed and lame). This watch has the style of the Breitling, Omega and Rolex of similar looks, yet is a couple thousand less. Also, this watch kind of gets dinged up a bit on the band. The face of the watch itself is stunning and doesn't get scratched at all, yet the seconds hand on the watch is kind of offset from the actual digits and the crown doesn't screw in to display the tag sign straight up or symmetrically.
Overall it's a tight watch, classy and sporty. Really goes with whatever I wear, whether a brooks bro's 1619 suit or just a white tee and some mesh shorts.

Great sporty watch
It's a very elegant sporty watch. Not too heavy. My girlfriend loves it. My old swiss army watch looks ghetto now.

Tag Heuer Men's 2000 Aquaracer
I am pleased with the watch. It is beautiful- no complaints there. However I do wish they had left some room on the back for engraving. There is no room, because of all sort of other writing, so you have to use the sides of the watch if you want it engraved.
The watch was also sent in record time from the US to Norway. The trouble starts this time just as the last time I bought a watch from Amazon: with UPS!! I paid toll fees when I bought the watch this time and then got a bill from UPS several weeks later for the same toll amount. When I called them they say that Amazon has said to bill me and that I must contact Amazon. I have contacted Amazon and they said they would tell the proper department. I still have not heard anything - irritating!!

VERY NICE!
I have this watch in the automatic model and have been very happy with it. The only problem is that when it goes in for service it's off to NJ for four to six weeks. I bought this one for a back-up and the convenience of the quartz movement. I can't believe how much lighter it is and how comfortable it is to wear. A slightly smaller case than the automatic. It has a sportier look and feel to it also. I really like it and it just came tody! I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Awesome watch especially if you are a diver..best price around
This watch was delivered as advertised. Can't beat the price anywhere. For those of you worried about the warranty not being honored by the manufacturer, don't worry, it won't be. But the you get the same warranty seemingly covering the same types of defects from the retailer. Bottom line, anything goes wrong after two years, your paying no matter where you bought it, so you might as well save big bucks on the front end.
